Core Web Vitals from your real visitors

Loading (LCP), responsiveness (INP) and visual stability (CLS) measured with the people who visit your site — not in a lab. By page, by day and separately for phones and computers, at the 75th percentile like Google Search Console.

What it is for

What it helps you with

  1. 01

    Real devices, real networks

A lab test runs on one fast computer. Your visitors use older phones and slow networks — that is what Visitics measures.

  2. 02

    The slowest pages first

Pages are sorted by speed, so you know where an improvement helps the most visitors.

  3. 03

Speed and SEO in one place

Google uses Core Web Vitals in its ranking signals; the SEO audit of Visitics reads the same data.

In detail

How it works under the hood

The same thresholds as Google

A page is good when the 75th percentile of its visits stays within LCP 2.5 s, INP 200 ms, CLS 0.1 and TTFB 0.8 s, and poor beyond 4 s, 500 ms, 0.25 and 1.8 s. The shares of good, average and poor visits are exact, not estimated.

Percentiles you can trust

Values are kept in histograms, not as daily averages, so the 75th percentile of a week or a month is computed from all of its visits. Averaging daily percentiles would hide slow days; a histogram does not.

What slows a page down

From Aura, a sample of about one pageview in ten loads a small extra script. It names the element of the Largest Contentful Paint with the parts of its time — the server, waiting, loading and drawing — the slowest interaction with its input delay, processing and presentation, and the source of the largest layout shift.

Light for your visitors

The values come from the browser’s own measurements and travel with the other data of the page. The detailed script runs only on the sample and only on sites that switch it on; it sends selectors and the address of the main image, never a text of the page.

Speed in alerts and SEO

Slow loading triggers an alert the next morning and the speed is part of the weekly report. The SEO audit reads the same real visits, so a slow page with many visits climbs the list of what to fix.

Questions

Questions about Site speed

Why are my numbers different from PageSpeed Insights?

PageSpeed Insights runs a lab test on one simulated device. Visitics measures the real visits of the last days on your visitors’ devices — closer to the field data of Search Console.

Does measuring slow the site down?

No. The speed is read from the browser’s own measurements and sent with the other data in the background; the detailed causes are measured on a sample of visits only.

Do all browsers report every metric?

Not all of them — Chromium browsers (Chrome, Edge, Opera, Samsung Internet) report every metric, other browsers some. Each metric is computed from the visits that report it.

Is it in the free plan?

Yes, Core Web Vitals are in every plan. The detailed causes of slowness are in Aura and Luna.

Why is INP missing on some pages?

INP needs an interaction — a click, a tap or a key press — and a browser that reports it. A page that visitors only read has few or no INP values.

Do I have to set anything up?

No. Core Web Vitals are measured by the tracking script on every page. The detailed causes are switched on in the site settings, from Aura.
